When should you contact us?
After treatment, monitoring for any unusual or concerning symptoms is important. Severe swelling or noticeable asymmetry may indicate a complication. Persistent pain or excessive bruising beyond the expected level should also be addressed. Additionally, blanching of the skin—appearing white or bluish, especially around the lips—or any signs of infection such as redness, warmth, or pus, should be reported to your provider immediately.

Medications
Antibiotics (Prophylactic):
Standard: Bactrim DS (1 tablet every 12 hours for 7 days)
If allergic to Bactrim: Use Clindamycin or Doxycycline.
Herpes Prevention: Take antiviral medication as prescribed prophylactically if you have a history of herpes
Pain Medication: Tramadol 50 mg (up to 6 tablets as needed, only on the day of treatment)
Post-Treatment Guidelines:
- Exercise: Avoid for 1 week
- Swimming, Saunas, Hot Tubs: Avoid for 1 week
- Beach, Tanning Beds, Sun, Exposure: Avoid for 1 month
- Work: Resume after 1 day
- Air Travel: Allowed after 1 day
- Ice: Do NOT apply
- Massage: NOT recommended
- Compression Garment: Not tight first day, just for support. Wear 24 hours on the first day and a fter 48 hrs tightening as needed wear 8–10 hours daily for 1–3 months

- Fibrosis Treatment:(NOT indicated) This is NOT a treatment for fibrosis.
- Repeat Treatments: Not usually needed unless significant weight is gained and fat returns

Medicamentos

Indicaciones Post-Tratamiento

- Trabajo: Se puede retomar al día siguiente
